Great for cleaning scalp

I do not have dandruff (seborrheic dermatitis) but I was interested in something that could exfoliate my scalp which I believe that this could do to the 1.8% salicylic acid. I didn't want to use a scrub with little granules of something as I've never been a fan of those so this was perfect. It is viscous rather than liquidy so it is very convenient because I could just put it on my scalp before getting in the shower. You don't need to worry about it dripping at all. The applicator bottle is also very convenient. I do not recall noticing any scent so I guess it wasn't strong. I believe this helped get my scalp really clean which was the goal. My shampoo generally cleans my scalp decently well but this really helped to clean it better and more easily.

I don't have dandruff but something I'm using must be causing occasional scalp itching. The first time I used this, my scalp burned a little. But as the sensation went away, so did the itchiness. I don't use it before every shampoo, only once or twice a week. It helps.
