Good quality and organic. Like most authentic African Black Soap, it does have a strong fusty smell, but I don’t mind it. However, if you don’t like strong smells, adding a few drops/blend of essential oils helps. I bought 2 bars, already made liquid soap with one bar. I use it for shower and shampoo. For the liquid soap, I use the 454g of soap + 1L of water/Aloe Vera (+essential oils). It ladders up quite nicely and a little goes a long way! Great for skin and hair, highly recommend!
I recently read for the benefits of african black soap for hair so i decided to try one. I buy this brand because of the good reviews and i haven't regret it. I made a shampoo by dilute it with distilled water and add some amla powder to. Lathers good and leaves hair very smooth.
Worth the price of its size! The quality and benefits is superb! It helps my acne problem! And its good for sensitive skin and a bit dry after use that is good to my pimple so I am using a rose hip oil after using it. I feel so relief after using this brand!

Can't live without African black soap. I have bought different brands from iHerb, first time purchasing this one. Very authentic quality ingredients, large size will last a long time (I usually cut the bar & use a portion at a time), good packaging as the reminder can be kept in the ziplock package, good moisturizing cleanse that doesn't dry out the skin. Will repurchase when this one eventually finishes.
I bought this black African soap to help with my back and chest acne, and after just one week of daily use, I already noticed a significant improvement. I have topical steroid withdrawal and had eczema before that. I have been using this for more than two years now for my hair, face, and body. I used to have backne and acne, now they are gone. my rashes are healing nicely, never had an infection, thank God because I use this soap and coconut oil afterwards. This bar lasts me at least 2 months. I cut it up in little pieces and keep the rest securely wrapped away from moisture. This is one of the best ever soaps you can use for yourself!
i like it too much .big size natural appearance and smell effective for acne and renewing my skin it cause little of dryness coz it has a peeling and effect just i need to moisturize my skin to avoid dry skin feeling .after i washed my face or my body i feel that it tighten my skin and it become clear and shiny but .small amount it nack rich foam because i have .if any one have dry and sensitive skin i need to misurize more and more skin
t's also quite lightweight and hydrating. CONS: Those with oilier skin types who prefer a more matte makeup look might not love the shimmery finish. It's also not a pore-filling primer, so those looking for completely smooth skin might prefer a more heavy-duty formula with clear scent and using gentle with high quality
If I’m being honest there is a lot of pros and cons with this soap. I think I was using it more that I was supposed to that why I experienced those cons. You are not supposed to use this soap daily!! You can use it up to 2-3 times a week I wish I knew that because I noticed my hands were the only part of my body that was dry no matter how often I moisturize it and it went from soft hands to really harsh and dry hands. It’s a great soap if you use it right. Great quality and it does not have a scent! Perfect size too!! If I’m being honest I noticed a lot of benefits of this soap almost fully got rid of acne which is awesome!! I would recommend this soap just don’t use it so often!
