excellent liver aid. I take two capsules a day, along with silymarin. alpha lipoico is best taken on an empty stomach. At first, there may be burning, but the body gets used to it over time and it will not burn anymore after a few days.

I use it because of chelation. I have rheumatoid arthritis.
