Good alternative to liquid minerals while traveling

I normally take liquid magnesium every day, but I travel a lot on planes and its such a drudgery ensuring I have small bottles filled with the correct quantities for the journey. Using the tablets gets around that problem. Short term - a few days, they appear to do the job. I can't comment on long term. They do break up unless protected with some cotton to prevent them moving around too much. In the container.
