I bought this because the muffin recipe on the package was temptating. Besides, I am on a low-carb diet and I was looking for anything that could work as a kind of bread substitute. So, I tried the recipe without the topping and it is great! Of course, it tastes typically like flax seeds meal and is cocoa-muffin-like-dark-brown without tasting cocoa, but it is easy and can replace bread for sandwiches or burgers. No need to buy those low-carb breads, this one is organic! The recipe also works with baking soda in place of baking powder, half the quantity is enough and then you get even less carbs(because of the corn starch included in baking powder, of course). I also tried Milled Flax Seeds, without chia, it works all the same. I even prefer it without chia for the muffin. Chia is nutritionally great though.
