Seems extra refined for turbinado

Posted by Zambini on Dec 26, 2008

Usually get bulk turbinado at the health food store. Will definitely keep doing that. The Now Turbinado seemed a bit refined, very fine, almost like colored white processed sugar. Less flavor than usual turbinado.

Worth the price

I use this exclusively to make water kefir which requires organic sugar. This product dissolves readily and the price from iherb.com makes it an affordable addition to the pantry.

Muy buena

Nada que ver con el azúcar convencional, su color es beige y el grano más grueso, su sabor menos dulce que la blanca, me he acostumbrado y me gusta mucho.

Sugar is as sugar does....

I only use this for water kefir. The Hawaiian Turbinado sugar is better I think, because the end product is much richer in flavor and color. Still good though.
