No big horse pills (they're smaller in size), vegetarian and bioavailable; the only drawback is the dosage, as you do take a lot of them at a time. I used to go to have to urinate 4-6 times every night which made getting a decent sleep difficult. The doctor prescribed alpha blockers which cause huge fluctuations in my blood pressure and didn't help the bladder/prostate problem. With just the first dose (2 capsules) of this, I dropped to 0-1 times urinating each night and my sleep radically improved. Also, during the day, I no longer feel the need to urinate all day, stopping in every restroom I pass. After urinating, I no longer feel like my bladder is still 20% full. I am back to normal. This improved my life immeasurably. I do not understand how doctors are allowed to prescribe useless pharma with horrible side effects when effective, natural remedies like this exist!!

20 years ago, my father and my father-in-law started taking New Chapter Prostate 5LX. They both found life without them very difficult and, at times, almost intolerable without New Chapter Prostate 5LX. Now, my own husband relies heavily on them to stop the constant feeling of wanting to wee. He won't go anywhere without them or becomes agitated. For men suffering Prostate problems, they are an absolute must and a totally different creature to the sub standard rubbish sold in generic health food shops, which we tried recently when my husband forgot to renew his New Chapter supply. 10 days of taking Planet Organic and Holland and Barretts very weak offerings were so weak, it was like taking nothing. He is now extremely particular about ordering his New Chapter in good time.
