General Information

Due to the fluctuations of the exchange rate, orders with value very close to the tax-free limit may be assessed Duties and Taxes (D&T) as the currency exchange rate may vary from the order date to the customs clearance date.

Please check with your local customs office in Kazakhstan to see if you can import the items, and if any additional licenses or permits are needed.

Customs Information

Kazakhstan introduced VAT to foreign entities selling online goods to customers in Kazakhstan. iHerb will be obliged to go through a special registration and pay Kazakhstan VAT (Article 779.1 of the Tax Code). All iHerb orders shipped to Kazakhstan are subject to 12% VAT as of January 1, 2022.


All iHerb orders are shipped out from our US warehouses to your country by Air Freight. 

The Estimated Delivery window provided by iHerb reflects most standard deliveries. However, some orders may occasionally be subject to longer transit time caused by air freight delay, Customs hold, or any other unforeseen complications outside of iHerb’s control.

You may have to pay import taxes, customs duties, or a brokerage (handling) fee for your order. These charges are separate from your shipping fee, and you will be billed directly from the carrier of your choice.

Please Note

Customs or the delivery company may contact you over the phone or via email to ask that you provide the following data for receiving the goods under preferential procedures (for individuals):

1. Print and sign the contract, which can be downloaded on the website of the company. For Boxberry: EKS / For EMEX:
2. Send a copy of the signed contract and your ID card to the following email addresses: For Boxberry: [email protected]/ For EMEX: [email protected]
3. For Emex: You will receive a link with instructions to automatically fill out the documents required for customs procedures, where you will be able to electronically sign the contract and upload documents

Customs clearance is carried out according to the requirements and conditions of the "Agreement on the movement of goods by individuals for personal use through the customs border of the Customs Union and customs operations connected with their release of 18 June 2010."

Please note that by sending the contract and the copy of your ID, you give the right to a Customs representative to use your personal data for purposes of Customs clearance.
